আমি জেনে শুনে বিষ করেছি পান

প্রাণের আশা ছেড়ে সঁপেছি প্রাণ

যতই দেখি তারে ততই দহি,

আপন মনোজ্বালা নীরবে সহি,

তবু পারি নে দূরে যেতে, মরিতে আসি-

লই গো বুক পেতে অনলবাণ যতই হাসি নিয়ে দহন করে

ততই বাড়ে তৃষা প্রেমের তরে,

প্রেম-অমৃতধারা ততই যাচি

যতই করে প্রাণে অশনিদান|

Knowingly I consumed poison

As I have given up the hope of my life

Thus dedicate myself to you…my lord.

As much as I see, it burnt my mind in grief.

I suffer from my own mental agony in silence

Yet I cannot go further more – to sacrifice my life

I accept all your complains like accepting fire arrows

With smiles in pain of being burnt,

It boosts the thirst of divine love.

As long as it thunders into my life

To that extent I crave the Devine love
Like river of ambrosia to flow through me.

What a pleasure you are getting

By spreading your small wings.

You jubilate your liveliness

Still you don’t have less happiness

For your being small.

You have yours only

You are not obliged to others

You have the divine power within

That shows the path for completeness

In spite of your smallness

You make your presence into everybody – in a great way

You bundled all brightness exists in the world into your embrace
